Speaker Harrell to lead South Carolina roll call

Watch for House Speaker Bobby Harrell later today when he leads South Carolina's roll call from the floor of the Republican National Convention. Harrell, R-Charleston, is expected to formally award John McCain South Carolina's 24 delegates in the ceremonial roll call. C-SPAN is providing uninterrupted coverage of the convention from St. Paul, Minn. The network, which airs on Channel 30 on Comcast in Charleston, is also offering live Web streaming at C-SPAN.org. The roll call is scheduled to begin roughly around 10 p.m. The schedule is available here.
