Beaufort defensive end Duane Chisolm, one of the best football players in the state, will have an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of a knee injury he suffered in Friday night's 41-0 victory over James Island. Chisolm was injured in the second quarter. "It looked better this morning," Beaufort coach Mark Clifford said Saturday. "Last night, we were thinking it was the worst-case scenario. But we won't know until Monday. We're just hoping for the best. We expect him to miss at least a couple of games. We just hope it isn't as bad as we thought it was last night." Chisolm recorded 113 tackles, 15 sacks, 20 tackles for loss and forced two fumbles last year to earn All-Lowcountry honors. He had four tackles for a loss and four sacks heading into Friday night's game against the Trojans. Chisolm is a 6-3, 250-pound strongside defensive end. Rivals ranks him as the ninth best player in the state. He has scholarship offers from Alabama, Clemson, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia.
