Applications offered for trust fund grantsSaturday, May 10, 2008
Applications for grants from the Lawrence G. Derthick, Jr. Memorial Trust Fund are available. The grants are available on a matching fund basis for non-profit community groups that are located in Charleston County and serve children. The fund is administered by a committee of two Charleston County School Board members and one downtown constituent school board member. The application deadline is 3 p.m. May 30.
