Today's Clemson stories

Posted 07:11 a.m., August 20, 2008

Our own Gene Sapakoff has a

column

suggesting that Nick Saban might, just might, be orchestrating a spy operation around Clemson's practice fields. Hmmmmm.....

Also in the

P&C,

fall camp has been like summer camp for a cluster of established veterans.

Paul Strelow of The State has a

feature

on Tigers receivers coach Dabo Swinney, who's been saying "Roll Tide" since he began dragging a diaper.

We'll have a similar story on Swinney next week in a series entitled "Crimson Ties." It'll chronicle some of the many connections between Clemson and Alabama heading into the Aug. 30 opener in Atlanta.

More on yesterday's scrimmage in

The Greenville News

and

Independent-Mail.

The Seneca paper has a

look

at the Tigers' tight ends.
