ONE MORE GARCIA NOTE

COLA -- Halfway forgot, halfway didn't find this necessary to mention with so many Stephen Garcia rumors floating around.
But the South Carolina freshman quarterback settled Thursday that he has no plans to transfer to South Florida, or anywhere else.
The Tampa, Fla., native said he would've jetted after being temporarily expelled in the spring following his third arrest or citation since arriving here in January 2007. That's when he received a ticket from USC police for underage possession of alcohol.
"If I would’ve (transferred), I would’ve done that last spring," Garcia said. "I’m not going anywhere."
Garcia will get the start in the yet-to-be-determined bowl game, fully expected to be the New Year's Day Outback Bowl in Garcia's hometown.
